Tree of Life Christian entered their tilt with Cristo Rey on Saturday with two consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with three. They breezed by the Cristo Rey Cougar to the tune of 51-18. The Trojans have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won three games by 33 points or more this season.

Cristo Rey's loss came despite strong showings from Amani Via and Emelyn Santiago. Via posted eight points, while Santiago had six points and seven rebounds.

Tree of Life Christian pushed their record up to 5-2 with the win, which was their third straight at home. The wins came thanks to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 21.3 points per game. As for Cristo Rey, their loss dropped their record down to 2-5.

Tree of Life Christian will finish 2024 at home by hosting Mt. Gilead at 1:00 p.m. on December 28th. As for Cristo Rey, they will get a bit of extra time to process the defeat as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on KIPP Columbus at 1:00 p.m. on January 4, 2025.
