After three games on the road, the Masconomet Regional Chieftains are heading back home. They will square off against the Rockport Vikings on Wednesday. Masconomet Regional is limping into the contest on a seven-game losing streak.
The Chieftains were expected to have a tough go of it last week, and that's exactly how things played out. They suffered a grim 83-55 defeat to Newburyport.
Meanwhile, it's never fun to lose, and it's even less fun to lose 78-41, which was the final score in Rockport's tilt against Amesbury last Friday. Rockport was in a tough position by the half, with the score already sitting at 46-18.
