New Hampton won the last time they met up with Forest City, and they shouldn't regret having come to the reunion, either. Everything came up roses for New Hampton against Forest City on Friday as the squad secured a 35-0 win. The win was a breath of fresh air for New Hampton as it put an end to their four-game losing streak.
The victory bumped New Hampton's record up to 1-4. Forest City are still searching for that first win as they fell to 0-5.
Next week New Hampton take on Iowa Falls-Alden at 7:00 PM. Iowa Falls-Alden took a loss in their last match and are no doubt out to reverse New Hampton's good fortune. As for Forest City, they will face off against Hampton-Dumont/Cal. Neither Forest City nor Hampton-Dumont/Cal could muster much offensive firepower in their last games, so look to the defense to decide this one.
