The Rock Springs Tigers's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Saturday after their third straight loss. They took a hard 55-36 fall against Campbell County. Rock Springs lost against Campbell County in their previous head to head back in December of 2022, too, but the margin this time around was much closer than the 62-21 score last time.
Kaylie Neary was the offensive standout of the contest as she scored 15 points along with 5 rebounds. That makes it two consecutive games in which she has scored at least 25% of Campbell County's points. The team also got some help courtesy of Hadlee Tullis, who scored 10 points along with 3 steals.
Rock Springs' defeat dropped their record down to 0-3. As for Campbell County, they now have a winning record of 2-1.
After both having extra time off, Rock Springs and Evanston will shake off the cobwebs and challenge one another at 5:00 p.m. on January 9, 2024. Campbell County will have some time to savor their victory since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Viborg/Hurley at 8:00 a.m. on December 28th.
