For Chautauqua Lake, this counts as revenge for the 56-45 defeat Southwestern walked away with the last time they faced one another back in February of 2021.
Chautauqua Lake found their leader in underclassman Nick Jacobson, who scored 24 points along with 6 rebounds and 3 steals. Nathan Henry was another key contributor, scoring 11 points along with 7 rebounds.
Chautauqua Lake's victory bumped their record up to 1-0. As for Southwestern, their loss dropped their record down to 0-1.
Chautauqua Lake will head out on the road to face off against Silver Creek at 7:30 p.m. on Monday. As for Southwestern, they will be playing at home against Clymer Central at 7:30 p.m. on Monday. Hopefully Clymer Central focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 18 last Friday.
