Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Morrill to victory, but perhaps none more so than Ashwin Pittman, who shot 4-for-7 from beyond the arc and dropped a double-double on 18 points and ten rebounds. The contest was Pittman's third in a row with at least ten points. The team also got some help courtesy of Wyler Fisher, who went 7 for 13 on his way to 17 points and six boards.
Morrill was working as a unit and finished the game with 19 assists. That's the most assists they've posted since back in January of 2024.
Meanwhile, Edgemont ended up a good deal behind Faith on Saturday and lost 54-36.
Morrill pushed their record up to 9-3 with the victory, which was their fifth straight on the road. They've dominated over that stretch too, winning by an average of 24.2 points. As for Edgemont, they have traveled a rocky road recently having lost five of their last six games, which put a noticeable dent in their 2-7 record this season.
