Memphis Nighthawks had to kick off their season with an away game, and unfortunately wound up with a long bus ride home. They were given a punishing 0-40 loss at the hands of Tunica Academy. Memphis Nighthawks were in a tough position by the half, with the score sitting at 0-22.
Memphis Academy of Science and Engineering had to travel to play their first game of the season, and the final result was worth the trip. They blew past Fayette Ware 24-2. Memphis Academy of Science and Engineering was expected to win, but the margin was definitely larger than the state rankings had forecast.

Their offensive line will need to gear up for a tough test against a Memphis Academy of Science and Engineering defensive front that amassed 3 sacks against Fayette Ware last Friday.
