Warrior Run and Bloomsburg are an even 5-5 against one another since April of 2021, but likely not for long. The Defenders will be playing at home against the Panthers at 4:30 p.m. on Monday. The teams are on pretty different trajectories at the moment (Warrior Run has eight straight wins, Bloomsburg has 15 straight defeats), but none of that matters once you're on the field.
Warrior Run is headed in fresh off scoring the most runs they have all season. Everything went their way against Mifflinburg on Friday as they made off with a 20-7 victory. Considering the Defenders have won ten matchups by more than five runs this season, Friday's blowout was nothing new.
Griffen Harrington made a big impact no matter where he played. He tossed five innings while giving up just one earned (and one unearned) run off four hits. Harrington was also stellar in the batter's box, getting on base in four of his five plate appearances with three runs, three RBI, and one stolen base. He has been hot recently, having posted three or more RBI the last three times he's played.

Meanwhile, Bloomsburg didn't have quite enough to beat Hughesville on Wednesday and fell 5-4.
Shane Frey and Brayden Holbert did some serious damage despite the final result: Frey got on base in three of his four plate appearances with one double and one RBI, while Holbert went 2-for-3 with two stolen bases and two runs.
Warrior Run pushed their record up to 15-1 with the win, which was their 12th straight on the road dating back to last season. Those road victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.8 runs on average over those games. As for Bloomsburg, their loss dropped their record down to 1-15.
Bloomsburg's pitching crew has a crucial task ahead of them: Warrior Run hasn't had any issues making contact this season, having earned a batting average of .349. It's a different story for Bloomsburg, though, as they've only averaged .219. Will they be able to contain Warrior Run's hitters?
Warrior Run took their win against Bloomsburg when the teams last played back in April by a conclusive 13-0 score. Will the Defenders repeat their success, or do the Panthers have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
