Staples came out on top against McMahon on Monday thanks in part to the team's impressive four-run seventh inning. The Wreckers put the hurt on the Senators with a sharp 8-2 victory. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 12-0 last Tuesday.

Staples now has a winning record of 2-1. As for McMahon, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-4.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Staples will have some time to savor their win since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Wilton at 4:15 p.m. on May 2. As for McMahon, they will face off against Trumbull at 4:15 p.m. on Wednesday.
