It can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but the Highland Park Scots had no problem doing just that on Friday. They breezed by Arlington at home to the tune of 45-17. The win was familiar territory for Highland Park who now have eight in a row.
Arlington's lost despite a true team effort on the offense, the best among them being Isaiah Robertson, who gained 112 total yards and a touchdown. Drelon Burton was another key contributor, rushing for 101 yards.
Highland Park has yet to lose a matchup at home this season, leaving them with a 10-1 record. They've been dominating during the contests in that stretch too, as they've won by an average of 23.83 points. As for Arlington, their loss dropped their record down to 4-7.
Highland Park will take on McKinney at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. McKinney is also coming in off of a big victory, so somebody is in for a big reversal of fortune. Arlington does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
