Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Riverside). They claimed a resounding 82-9 win over the Ysleta Indians. With that victory, the Rangers brought their scoring average up to 50.4 points per game.

Riverside got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Jocelyn Castro out in front who went 6 of 13 on her way to 15 points in addition to eight steals and six boards. Those eight steals gave Castro a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Yazmin Rios, who went 6 for 14 on her way to 17 points in addition to eight boards and six assists.

Riverside smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 32 offensive boards. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now pulled down at least ten offensive rebounds in ten consecutive games.

Riverside is on a roll lately: they've won nine of their last ten matches, which provided a massive bump to their 14-8 record this season. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 55.5 points per game. As for Ysleta, they are on a six-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 5-14.

Riverside will host Clint at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Clint will roll in looking for their fifth straight victory, something Riverside surely won't give up without a fight. As for Ysleta, they will take on Fabens at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Fabens' defense has only allowed 24.7 points per game this season, so Ysleta's offense will have their work cut out for them.
