Berlin and the Comets are an even 3-3 against one another since January of 2015, but not for long. The Berlin Indians will be playing in front of their home fans against the Waupaca Comets at 7:15 p.m. on Monday. Berlin has been dominant on offense recently, as they've racked up an incredible 845 points over their last 12 games.
Berlin pushed their score all the way to 65 on Thursday, but even that wasn't enough to win. They took a 76-65 hit to the loss column at the hands of Waupun.
Meanwhile, Waupaca made easy work of the Panthers on Thursday and carried off a 60-35 victory.
Berlin's defeat dropped their record down to 15-4. As for Waupaca, the win got them back to even at 10-10.
Berlin came out on top in a nail-biter against the Comets when the teams last played back in January of 2023, sneaking past 62-59. Will Berlin repeat their success, or do the Comets have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
