Porter is 8-0-2 against Donna since January of 2019, and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Friday. The Porter Cowboys will be playing in front of their home fans against the Donna Redskins at 5:30 p.m. Porter's last three matches have been decided by no more than a goal, so don't be surprised if it's a close one.
Tuesday just wasn't the day for Porter's offense. They fell just short of Lopez by a score of 1-0.
Meanwhile, Donna kept a clean sheet against Harlingen South on Tuesday. They came out on top against the Hawks by a score of 2-0. That two goal margin sets a new team best for Donna this season.
Porter's loss dropped their record down to 10-2-2. As for Donna, their victory ended a three-game drought on the road and puts them at 3-5-2.
Porter took their win against Donna in their previous meeting back in March of 2023 by a conclusive 4-1. Will Porter repeat their success, or does Donna have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
