Central Linn had to travel to play their first game of the season, and the final result was worth the trip. They captured a comfortable 24-8 win over Weston-McEwen. This was the first game for both teams, giving Central Linn a 1-0 record and starting Weston-McEwen off at 0-1.
Central Linn will be defending their home turf for the first time next week when they go up against Stanfield at 7:00 PM. Weston-McEwen are packing up and heading on the road for the first time this season. They face off against Irrigon next week at 7:00 PM.
