After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Western Sierra Collegiate Academy, the Faith Christian Lions were happy to have found some success on Saturday. They breezed by Sacramento Country Day on the road to the tune of 52-24. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest victory Faith Christian has posted against Sacramento Country Day since May 11, 2021.
Several Cavaliers players turned in solid performances, despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Ryan Scripps, who scored seven points along with 12 rebounds and four steals. That's the first time this season that Scripps pulled down eight or more rebounds. Yuvraj Dhillon was another key contributor, scoring four points along with five rebounds and two steals.
Faith Christian's victory bumped their record up to 10-13. As for Sacramento Country Day, they now have a losing record at 8-9.
Faith Christian will be playing in front of their home fans against Biggs at 6:30 p.m. on Monday. Biggs will be looking to extend their current seven-game winning streak. As for Sacramento Country Day, they will head out on the road to face off against Sacramento Adventist at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
