Meanwhile, Dumont strolled past the Scarlets with points to spare on Thursday, taking the game 51-37. Given Dumont's advantage in MaxPreps' New Jersey basketball rankings (they are ranked 86th, while the Scarlets are ranked 228th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.
Dwight Morrow's loss ended a five-game streak of away wins and brought them to 10-7. As for Dumont, their win was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 13-6.
Dwight Morrow strolled past the Huskies when the teams last played back in January by a score of 68-50. The rematch might be a little tougher for Dwight Morrow since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
