Daniel Burton was his usual excellent self, dropping a double-double on 14 points and ten rebounds. He is on a roll when it comes to blocks, as he's now posted two or more in the last 11 games he's played. Another player making a difference was Shawn michael Matthews, who scored 11 points along with six assists and five rebounds.
Wilson Hall is on a roll lately: they've won six of their last seven games, which provided a nice bump to their 19-6 record this season. As for Camden Military, they are on a six-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-11.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Wilson Hall won't have much time to rest: their next match is against the Cardinals at 7:30 p.m. on January 31st. Hopefully Cardinal Newman focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up ten on Tuesday. As for Camden Military, they will head out on the road to face off against the Barons at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The timing is sure in Wilson Hall's favor as the squad sits on three straight wins at home while the Spartans have been banged up by four consecutive losses on the road.
