Two teams were on the hunt for playoff glory, but only McClymonds walked away with it. They walked away with a 42-34 win over the Roseville Tigers on Saturday. The victory was nothing new for the Warriors as they're now sitting on nine straight.
Several Tigers players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was (JJ) Oreste Yong, who picked up 133 receiving yards and three TDs. Yong's receiving production has been exceptional as that marked his fifth straight game with at least 123 receiving yards. Mason Susnara was another key signal caller, throwing for 207 yards and four touchdowns.
McClymonds' win bumped their record up to 11-2. As for Roseville, with the defeat, they broke their five-game winning streak and moved their record to 11-3.
Coming up, McClymonds will take on Kennedy at 7:00 p.m. on Saturday. The Warriors will need to watch out since the Thunderbirds have now posted at least 31 points in their last ten matchups. Roseville does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
