On Friday, Poway are packing up and heading on the road for the first time this season. They face off against Ramona at Ramona HS at 4:00 PM. It might come down to the wire as the game is expected to be close.
Everything went Poway's way against Olympian last Friday as they made off with a 34-0 win. The Poway offense checked out after the first half but had enough points banked to take the contest anyway.
Meanwhile, it's never fun to lose, and it's even less fun to lose 6-41, which was the final score in Ramona's tilt against Point Loma last week.
Poway's victory lifted them to 1-1 while Ramona's loss dropped them down to 1-1. We'll find out if Poway can add another positive mark to their record or if Ramona can shake off the loss and take the spring out of Poway's step.
