Meanwhile, Brookville suffered a rough 59-39 loss at the hands of Maumee Valley Country Day on Wednesday. The result shouldn't come as a shock considering that's the fewest points Brookville has scored all season.
Brookville's loss came about despite a quality game from Jace Wood, who scored 15 points along with seven rebounds. The matchup was Wood's fifth in a row with at least ten points. Another player making a difference was Cole Crabtree, who scored five points along with six rebounds and four steals.
Even though they lost, Brookville were smashing the offensive glass and finished the game with 13 offensive rebounds. That's the most offensive rebounds they've managed all season.
Mississinawa Valley's defeat dropped their record down to 1-7. As for Brookville, their loss dropped their record down to 5-3.
