San Jacinto Valley Academy pushed their score all the way to 66 on Tuesday, but even that wasn't enough to win. They fell just short of Temecula Prep by a score of 68-66. San Jacinto Valley Academy has struggled against Temecula Prep recently, as their match on Tuesday was their sixth consecutive lost matchup.
The loss doesn't tell the whole story though, as several players had good games. One of the most active was James Henderson, who dropped a double-double on 15 points and 13 rebounds. Alexander Meza was another key contributor, scoring 12 points along with seven rebounds.
Meanwhile, it's never fun to lose, and it's even less fun to lose 72-38, which was the final score in California Military Institute's tilt against Santa Rosa Academy on Thursday. California Military Institute was in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 46-20.
San Jacinto Valley Academy has been struggling recently, as they've lost four of their last five games, which put a noticeable dent in their 4-6 record this season. As for California Military Institute, they bumped their record down to 0-6 with that defeat, which was their seventh straight on the road dating back to last season.
