Father Tolton was the team that gained the most ground in the standings this week, jumping from 24th to 19th in Freelance. Father Tolton beat Missouri Military Academy 31-6 earlier in the week.
Hogan Prep Charter extended the longest winning streak in the league this week by beating Van Horn, 35-12. The win marks seventh in a row for the the Rams.
South Callaway's offense was tough to stop this week, as it produced the league's top passer, rusher and receiver. Jason Kimminau threw for 30 and one touchdown and Garner Rudroff had 14 yards receiving. On the ground Kimminau chipped in 90 yards. Bradley Smart helped South Callaway's passing attack out by catching one ball for 11 yards.
Central's Thomas Sorg and Tavian Neal have formed a dynamic duo this season, leading the league in both passing and receiving yards. Sorg has thrown for 801 yards this season, while Neal, a 6-foot-1 receiver, has 16 catches for 373 yards. Jantsen Lynn from McDonald County leads the league in rushing with 881 yards.
The marquee game in Freelance this week will be the clash between Rockhurst and Jefferson City. The Hawklets enters the game ranked third in the state, while the Jays ranks 10th.
The Mustangs moved up to 146 from 183 in the state rankings this week, the biggest jump in the league. A 48-0 win over McDonald County helped McDonald County improve its standing.
