After a string of four wins, the Coweta Tigers's good fortune finally ran out on Thursday. They fell just short of Will Rogers College by a score of 58-55. Having run the score up that high, both teams probably have some extra defensive drills coming up.
Will Rogers College's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Jay Oates iii, who scored 14 points along with eight rebounds. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Oates iii has scored all season. Dkarrion Titsworth was another key contributor, scoring 16 points.
Coweta's defeat dropped their record down to 5-7. As for Will Rogers College, they are on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four matches, which provided a nice bump to their 4-8 record this season.
