Sheridan came tearing into Tuesday's game with six straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 6.5 runs), and they left with even more momentum. They blew past the Morgan Raiders 8-2. The result was nothing new for the Generals, who have now won 13 contests by six runs or more so far this season.

Sheridan's win bumped their record up to 17-5. As for Morgan, their defeat was their third straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 5-16.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Sheridan is set to face off against their familiar foe Coshocton at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, Morgan will square off against rival West Muskingum at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday.
