Ethan Ernst put up the most strikeouts he's had since back in April on Thursday. He struck out seven batters over five innings while giving up just two earned (and three unearned) runs off seven hits. Considering he played a big game the last time he faced off against New Miami back in April of 2024, the result shouldn't come as too huge a shock.
