Volleyball Recap: Rich Wins Going Away Against Tintic

Rich won the last time they faced Tintic and things went their way on Saturday too. The Rebels were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Miners. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Rebels.

Rich walked away with the win (and looked especially good in the first set). Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-13, 25-16, 25-18.

Chaislee Leavitt paced Rich's offense, picking up 13 kills. Leavitt got some help from Tess Cornia and her 28 assists. Laci McKinnon controlled things from the service line, finishing with seven aces.

The victory got Rich back to even at 6-6. As for Tintic, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 8-3.

Looking ahead, Rich will take on Altamont at 5:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Tintic, they will get a bit of extra time to process the defeat as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Dugway at 6:30 p.m. on the 23rd.
