The St. Maries Lumberjacks lost against the Potlatch Loggers back in January, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. St. Maries took a 47-39 hit to the loss column at the hands of Potlatch. St. Maries has struggled against Potlatch recently, as their matchup on Tuesday was their third consecutive lost matchup.
St. Maries' lost despite a true team effort on the offense, the best among them being Brenna Elliott, who scored 11 points along with 3 steals. The team also got some help courtesy of Raevyn Yearout, who scored 6 points along with 8 rebounds and 6 steals.
St. Maries now has a losing record at 1-2. As for Potlatch, the win got them back to even at 1-1.
Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. St. Maries will take on Wallace at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Potlatch, they have the luxury of staying home another game and will welcome Troy at 7:00 p.m. on November 28th.
