Brady Sutton Delivers Electric Effort Vs Goshen
Brady Sutton helped snap Western Brown's five-game losing streak. Sutton turned in nothing short of a gem on Friday, throwing for 369 yards and three touchdowns while picking up 11.9 yards per attempt, and also rushing for 100 yards on only ten carries. He has become a key player for Western Brown: the team is 2-1 when he posts at least three passing touchdowns, but 2-4 otherwise.
Goshen had to have seen this coming; the last time they saw Sutton it was a similar story. Sutton threw for 511 yards and three touchdowns the last time he and the Warriors duked it out back in October of 2023.

Clinton-Massie was led to victory by Cooper Carmack, who turned in his biggest game of the season on Friday. Carmack rushed for 141 yards and a touchdown on only ten carries, and also picked up 32 receiving yards and a touchdown, good enough to set a new career-high in rushing yards in the process. His longest rush was for an impressive 69 yards, which helps to explain his lofty yards per carry total.
The win (which was Clinton-Massie's sixth in a row) raised their record to 7-2. Carmack and Clinton-Massie will head out on the road to take on New Richmond at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.

Clinton-Massie was led to victory by Peyton Warren, who turned in his biggest game of the season on Friday. Warren rushed for 134 yards and two touchdowns on only 12 carries. The performance marked the most rushing yards he has had since back in October of 2023.
Warren must have Batavia's number; he was a force to be reckoned with the last time he faced them too. Back in October of 2023 (the last time Warren saw the Bulldogs), he rushed for 182 yards and two touchdowns on only nine carries.

Thanks in part to Tye Spaulding, Western Brown said goodbye to their five-game losing streak. Goshen had no answer to Spaulding on Friday as he made 17 total tackles (1.0 for loss).
Spaulding is probably looking forward to his next game, a road matchup against Wilmington on Friday. Spaulding picked up a sack and made 17 total tackles the last time he and the Hurricane duked it out back in October of 2023.
