Basketball Game Preview: Bell Bulldogs vs. Hamilton County Trojans

After both having extra time off, the Bell Bulldogs and the Hamilton County Trojans will shake off the cobwebs and take on one another at 6:30 p.m. on Friday. Having both just faced considerable losses, both teams are looking to turn things around.

Bell is headed into the match out to prove that what happened against Baker County last Friday (when they were outscored in every quarter) was just a minor bump in the road. Bell had to suffer through a 64-23 loss at the hands of Baker County. The Bulldogs were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 39-18.

The loss doesn't tell the whole story though, as several players had good games. One of the most active was Dacy Graham, who posted six points along with 13 rebounds and four steals. She has been hot recently, having posted four or more steals the last three times she's played.

Meanwhile, Hamilton County was not able to break out of their rough patch last Friday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They were outmatched by Lafayette and fell 63-11. The game marked the Trojans' lowest-scoring contest so far this season.

Bell has been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 4-6 record this season. As for Hamilton County, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-6.

Bell ended up a good deal behind Hamilton County when the teams last played back in January of 2023, losing 57-40. Thankfully for Bell, Aaliyah McFadden (who had 37 points) won't be suiting up this time. Will that be enough to change the final result? There's only one way to find out.
