The Carlynton Cougars will head out on the road to face off against the Cornell Raiders at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Carlynton is no doubt hoping to put an end to a seven-game streak of away losses.
Last Tuesday, everything went Carlynton's way against Avella as Carlynton made off with a 55-35 win.
Meanwhile, Cornell's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Tuesday after their fifth straight loss. They took a hard 50-35 fall against Western Beaver.
Carlynton's win bumped their record up to 5-13. As for Cornell, their loss dropped their record down to 2-13.
Carlynton strolled past Cornell in their previous matchup back in January by a score of 58-40. The rematch might be a little tougher for Carlynton since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
