Basketball Recap: Make It Four in a Row for Bear Creek

If Northwest wanted to avenge their loss from the last time they played Bear Creek, they should've done a better job of containing Max Beiber. The Bear Creek Grizzlies simply couldn't be stopped on Friday as they easily beat the Northwest House 80-47 thanks in part to Beiber, who posted 38 points. His evening made it four games in a row in which he has scored at least ten points.

The victory was the fourth in a row for Bear Creek, bringing their record for this year to 12-3. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 70.8 points per game. As for Northwest, they have been struggling recently as they've lost nine of their last ten games, which put a noticeable dent in their 6-10 record this season.

Bear Creek won't have much time to rest: their next contest is against Blaine at 4:30 p.m. on Saturday. Bear Creek is facing Blaine at the right time seeing as Blaine is stuck on a 12-game losing streak. As for Northwest, they will face off against Bush at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. One thing working in Bush's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points in their last three matches.
