The Lindblom Eagles suffered their biggest loss since December 8, 2023 on Saturday. They took a serious blow against Amundsen, falling 65-14. Lindblom was in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 44-8.
Hannah Lopez had an outrageously good game for Amundsen as she scored 22 points along with five steals. Lopez continues to roll, besting her previous point total in each of the last three games she's played. Another player making a difference was Charlii Lopez, who scored 11 points along with seven rebounds and three steals.
Lindblom's loss dropped their record down to 2-13. As for Amundsen, the victory makes it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 11-15.
Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Lindblom will take on Lincoln Park at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. Lincoln Park is no doubt hoping to put an end to a four-game streak of away losses. As for Amundsen, they will be playing at home against Perspectives/IIT at 5:00 p.m. on Monday.
