Walker's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Kennedi Ard, who scored 16 points along with nine steals and five assists. The team also got some help courtesy of Jamiya Vann, who scored 18 points along with five steals.
Hicks' loss ended a 13-game streak of away wins and brought them to 27-3. As for Walker, they pushed their record up to 27-1 with that win, which was their 31st straight at home.
Hicks will head out on the road to take on Oak Hill at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Walker, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Zachary at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. One thing working in Zachary's favor is that they have posted big point totals in their last three contests.
