On Friday, the Ridgeline Riverhawks faced the Logan Grizzlies in a battle between two of the state's top teams. Ridgeline sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 53-50 win over Logan. The victory was familiar territory for Ridgeline who now have three in a row.
Carson Cox continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines, scoring 25 points along with seven rebounds. That makes it three consecutive games in which he has scored at least a third of Ridgeline's points. The team also got some help courtesy of Jagger Francom, who scored 13 points along with seven rebounds.
Ridgeline is on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five matches, which provided a nice bump to their 13-5 record this season. As for Logan, their defeat dropped their record down to 15-3.
Ridgeline's homestand continues as they prepare to take on Green Canyon at 7:00 p.m. on February 2nd. The matchup should be an exciting one, as these teams are ranked near one another in Utah (Green Canyon is ranked 20th, while Ridgeline is ranked 24th). As for Logan, they will head out on the road to square off against Mountain Crest at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. That game will pit two of the most dominant players against one another: Kaden Hess and Jordan Child.
