The Raymond Seagulls won the last time they faced the Onalaska Loggers, and things went their way on Saturday too. Raymond walked away with a 62-49 win over Onalaska. The win made it back-to-back wins for Raymond.
Raymond's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Christopher Quintana led the charge by scoring 16 points along with six assists and two steals. The team also got some help courtesy of Dalton Welch, who scored 13 points along with two steals.
Raymond has been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four contests, which provided a nice bump to their 10-9 record this season. As for Onalaska, their loss was their fourth straight at home, which dropped their record down to 3-12.
Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Raymond will face off against South Bend at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. South Bend comes in still looking for their first win of the season. As for Onalaska, Onalaska and Morton/White Pass will face off at 7:00 p.m. on January 29th without much rest after finishing up games yesterday.
