York had already won three in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 7 runs) and they went ahead and made it four on Friday. They blew past the Smithfield Packers 11-1. Considering the Falcons have won ten matches by more than six runs this season, Friday's blowout was nothing new.

Sarah Witt was a major factor while hitting and pitching. On the mound, she pitched six innings while giving up just one earned run off six hits. She has been consistent: she hasn't given up more than two walks in seven consecutive appearances. She was also stellar in the batter's box, going 2-for-4 with three RBI, two doubles, and one stolen base. That's the most RBI she has posted since back in April.

In other batting news, Leslee Maldonado was a standout: she went a perfect 3-for-3 with four runs, two stolen bases, and one triple. That's the most hits she has posted since back in April. The team also got some help courtesy of Leah Hunter, who went a perfect 3-for-3 with three RBI, two runs, and one double.

York kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 14 hits. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now got at least eight hits in six consecutive contests.

York's victory bumped their record up to 12-8. As for Smithfield, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 9-8.

As of now, neither York nor the Packers have any future games scheduled.
