The Harding County Ranchers put another one in the bag on Thursday to keep their perfect season alive. They breezed by Tiospaye Topa at home to the tune of 85-46. Harding County has made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won 13 games by 22 points or more this season.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Harding County to victory, but perhaps none more so than Brayden Padden, who dropped a double-double on 17 points and 16 rebounds. It was the first time this season that Padden scored 15 or more points. Another player making a difference was Kelsi Costello, who scored 18 points along with six steals and five assists.
Harding County pushed their record up to 16-0 with that win, which was their ninth straight at home dating back to last season. Those victories were due in large part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 66.2 points per game. As for Tiospaye Topa, their loss dropped their record down to 8-7.
Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Harding County will take on Bison at 5:30 p.m. on Monday. As for Tiospaye Topa, they will look to defend their home court on Friday against Oelrichs at 1:00 p.m.
