Make it 12 blowout wins for the Carrizo Springs Wildcats this season. Everything went their way against Somerset on Tuesday as Carrizo Springs made off with a 65-42 victory. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest victory Carrizo Springs has posted since December 7, 2023.
Leading Carrizo Springs to victory were Melanie Davila and Adisyn Reyes. Davila scored 14 points along with six assists and six rebounds, while Reyes scored 23 points along with six assists and three steals. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Reyes has scored all season. The team also got some help courtesy of Ysella Hinojosa, who scored two points along with ten rebounds and five blocks.
Carrizo Springs' win bumped their record up to 20-11. As for Somerset, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 8-23.
Carrizo Springs will head out on the road to square off against Pearsall at 6:30 p.m. on Friday. Pearsall is out to stop a six-game streak of losses at home. Somerset will take on Pleasanton at 6:30 p.m. on Friday.
