This season hasn't been kind to the Salem Generals, who are still winless after their eighth match. The New Year welcomed they with a  57-20 whooping from Hadley Luzerne on Thursday. The result shouldn't come as a shock considering that's the fewest  points Salem has scored all season.
 Despite the  defeat, Salem had strong showings from  Kiernan Haskell, who  scored four points, and  David Miller, who  scored three points along with six  rebounds. Those six  rebounds set a new season-high mark for him.
 Salem's loss was  their 15th straight at home dating back to last season, which  bumped their record down to 0-8. As for Hadley Luzerne, their win bumped their record up to 2-9.
 Both  squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Salem will  face off against Hartford Central at 7:00  p.m.  on Tuesday. Hadley Luzerne will be staying on the road  on Tuesday to face off against North Warren Central at 7:00  p.m.  on January 9th.
