The Carrizo Springs Wildcats were the 54-42 winner over the Uvalde Coyotes/Lobos (for girls) when they last played one another back in January, but their luck changed this time around. Carrizo Springs fell just short of the Coyotes/Lobos (for girls) by a score of 54-51. Carrizo Springs has now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
Despite the loss, Carrizo Springs still got an impressive performance from Adisyn Reyes, who almost dropped a double-double on 18 points and nine rebounds. Reyes has been hot recently, having posted two or more steals the last seven times she's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Maryssa Perez, who scored ten points.
Carrizo Springs' defeat dropped their record down to 21-13. As for Uvalde, they have been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four contests, which provided a nice bump to their 13-15 record this season.
Carrizo Springs does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Uvalde will head out on the road to face off against the Eagles at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
