Kenwood had to travel to play their first game of the season, but the final result was worth the trip. They enjoyed a cozy 20-6 win over the Hillsboro Burros on Friday. For the Knights, this counts as revenge for the 27-20 victory the Burros walked away with the last time they faced one another back in September of 2024.

Christian James had an outrageously good game as he rushed for 151 yards on only 14 carries, and also threw for 59 yards and one touchdown.
