Even though Clinton School scored an imposing 57 points on Saturday, the Construction Red Hawks still came out on top. Construction walked away with a 66-57 win over Clinton School. For Construction, this counts as revenge for the 68-51 loss Clinton School walked away with the last time they faced one another back in January of 2022.
Several Clinton School players turned in solid performances, despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Kate Stanley, who scored 21 points along with five rebounds. Those 21 points set a new season-high mark for her. Another player making a difference was Jaya Kelly, who scored 19 points.
Construction's victory bumped their record up to 2-0. As for Clinton School, their loss dropped their record down to 8-4.
Construction does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Clinton School will head out on the road to face off against Beacon at 4:30 p.m. on Monday.
