Ruby Parkin made a splash while hitting and pitching. She looked comfortable on the mound, striking out 13 batters over six innings while giving up just two earned (and two unearned) runs off seven hits (and only one walk). Parkin was also big at the plate, getting on base in three of her five plate appearances with four runs and one stolen base. Parkin is crushing it when it comes to stolen bases: she's snagged at least one every time she's taken the field this season.
