Noah Rodriguez spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: he surrendered only one earned (and one unearned) run on three hits and racked up ten Ks. He has been nothing but reliable: he hasn't tossed less than five strikeouts in eight consecutive appearances.
On the hitting side, Paradise Honors got a massive performance out of Grayson Leonardis, who went 1-for-3 with three stolen bases, three runs, and one RBI. That's the most runs Leonardis has posted since back in March. The team also got some help courtesy of Liam Whalen, who went 2-for-3 with two runs, one stolen base, and one double.
Meanwhile, Arcadia posted their closest win since March 18th on Friday. They had just enough and edged out Mica Mountain 5-4.
Arcadia also got a great performance from Brock Segui as he pitched six innings while giving up just two earned (and two unearned) runs off eight hits.
At the plate, Arcadia's victory was truly a team effort as six different players contributed at least one hit. One of them was Caleb Young, who went 1-for-2 with one run and one RBI.
Paradise Honors' record is now 20-5. As for Arcadia, their record now sits at 9-14.
Everything went Paradise Honors' way against Arcadia in their previous matchup back in April of 2025, as Paradise Honors made off with a 10-0 win. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Panthers since the squad won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
