It was a good run, but the Paradise Panthers unfortunately witnessed the end of their six-game winning streak on Saturday. They lost to Lubbock Christian on the road by a decisive 55-38 margin.
Several Panthers players turned in solid performances, despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Morgan Mitschke, who scored 12 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Gazey Yates, who scored 9 points along with 6 rebounds.
Paradise's loss dropped their record down to 12-4. As for Lubbock Christian, the win (which was their fifth in a row) raised their record to 8-4.
Paradise is on the road again on Tuesday and play against Ponder at 5:45 p.m. on December 12th. Ponder is on a six-game streak of home wins, Paradise a three-game streak of away wins -- so someone will have to leave a streak behind on the court. Lubbock Christian will take on Midland Christian at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
