Sypolt was also big at the plate,  getting on base  in three of her five plate appearances with two  RBI.
 In other batting news,  Reagan Powell was  incredible,  going 2-for-2 with three  runs, four  RBI,  and a  triple.  Peyton Dolina was another key contributor,  scoring three  runs and  stealing a base while going 1-for-4.
 Northern pushed their record up to 7-2 with that  victory, which was their fourth straight  on the road. As for Lackey,  this is  the second loss in a row for them and  nudges their season record down to 1-2.
 Northern will be playing in front of their home fans against St. Charles at 4:30  p.m.  on Friday. As for Lackey, they will head out on the road to  face off against  La Plata at 4:30  p.m.  on Friday. La Plata is strutting in with some hitting muscle, as they've averaged 10.3  runs per game  this season.
