University's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Friday after their third straight loss. The game between University and Los Angeles CES wasn't particularly close, with University falling 51-36. University has struggled against Los Angeles CES recently, as their contest on Friday was their fifth consecutive lost matchup.
Ian Uriarte put forth a good effort for the losing side as he scored nine points along with 13 rebounds and two blocks. Another player making a difference was Syrus Azarbarzin, who scored four points along with three steals.
Meanwhile, St. Margaret's came up short against Costa Mesa on Friday and fell 60-48.
University has been struggling recently, as they've lost five of their last six contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 5-12 record this season. As for St. Margaret's, their defeat dropped their record down to 9-8.
