In what's become a running theme this season, the Gibson County Pioneers gave their fans yet another huge win on Tuesday. They were the clear victor by a 51-30 margin over Peabody. The victory was nothing new for Gibson County as they're now sitting on nine straight.
Despite the loss, Peabody still got an impressive performance from Nyasia Luten, who scored 14 points along with three steals.
Gibson County pushed their record up to 24-1 with that victory, which was their fifth straight at home. Those victories were due in large part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 63.2 points per game. As for Peabody, they have been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four games, which put a noticeable dent in their 13-9 record this season.
Gibson County does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Peabody, they will be playing at home against Westview at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Hopefully Peabody focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 15 on Tuesday.
