4A District 3 recap September 17, 2013
Deming was the team that gained the most ground in the standings this week, jumping from third to first in 4A District 3. The Wildcats defeated Santa Fe 42-0 earlier in the week.
Deming took down the Demons 42-0 last week, the largest margin of any game. Ismail Garrett ran for 209 yards during the win.
David Padron and Garrett gave Fernie Holguin's team a balanced attack in passing and rushing last week. Jerome Sandoval also contributed to the rushing game with 106 yards on the ground.

Brandon Rodriguez was the best wideout in the league this week as Santa Teresa lost to Irvin. Rodriguez racked up 8 receptions for 88 yards. Ben Orozco helped Santa Teresa's passing attack out by catching 3 balls for 35 yards.
Garrett was the best running back in the league this week.
Garrett provided a threat through the air and on the ground as Deming topped Santa Fe.
Padron put up the best numbers through the air as the Wildcats topped Ray Holladay's team. He finished with a total of 3 completions for 54 yards and 2 touchdowns.
Thanks to the talents of Padron and Garrett, Deming has been able to do all sorts of things on offense. Padron leads the league in passing with 185 yards, while Garrett has rushed for 432 yards this season. Tops in the league in receving yards is the Desert Warriors' Rodriguez, with 144 yards on 10 catches.
The Wildcats led 4A District 3 in scoring this week after putting up 42 points on the Demons. Garrett in the win.
