1A District 2 recap October 1, 2013
The biggest upset of the week belonged to St. Edmond, who defeated 32nd ranked Ridge View, 62-6.
The Gaels were able to crack the Top 25 in the state rankings this week after topping the Raptors. St. Edmond came in at 23 in the state poll after placing at number 48 last week.
A big matchup in 1A District 2 this week will be when IKM/Manning takes on Dick Tighe's team. The Wolves are in sixth place, while the Gaels are in first place.
Pocahontas moved up to 207 from 233 in the state rankings this week, the biggest jump in the league. The Indians were able to move up by besting Maple Valley-Anthon-Oto 40-12.
